What we use
We use the following types of storage on AssistMeIn.
- Essential: keeps you signed in, protects your account, and remembers things such as a job you are part way through creating. The platform does not work properly without these.
- Preferences: remembers choices you make, such as filters and the chosen location, so you do not have to set them again.
- Chat: our messaging service keeps a session so you can send and receive messages and see your history.
- Payments: Stripe, our payment processor, may set its own cookies to detect fraud and process payments securely.
- Maps and addresses: Google Maps and address search may set cookies when you use location features.
Third parties
Some cookies are set by services we rely on, including Stripe, Google and our chat provider. These companies have their own privacy policies, and we do not control the cookies they set.

You can control cookies through your browser settings.
- You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
- If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use parts of the platform.
- Signing out clears the session information we keep in your browser.
